More from Seattle

Finally found that waterfall!

More Seattle

Searching for Waterfalls, we found cherries, trees and rivers...

More photos from Seattle

Two more photos of Taylor having fun before he went on a cruise with Julie and Natalie!

With those 3 gone, what to do? Go out for steak of course!

Mom drank a little too much

then lost her steak sauce. Don't go near Mom searching for her steak sauce, she's vicious!

Lots more to post

We went up the Sky Needle....

Mom did not go up, due to fear of heights, but Taylor wanted her to come

One of my favorite photos of Julie and Taylor

More Photos in Seattle... OK, Taylor in Seattle

Where to begin???

I haven't posted in a long time. So sorry. Life is CRAZY. Lets see if I can catch you up on everything going on
Hmmmm
Well, lets start with the photos from my trip to Seattle visiting Kristie and Andrew with Julie, Natalie, Taylor, and Mom... way back in July!
The first few days we spent with Julie, Natalie, and Taylor. Thus most photos are of Taylor. Can't help it, he's too darned cute!

Shoes by Jenna Kate

So comfy, and stylish!

More toggles you say?

Correct, I've been experimenting with etching ovals. Ovals are new to me, I was getting too comfortable with the circles I realized, so I was up for the challenge. Some ovals did not turn out, I'm not showing you those... These are the good ones!

What the heck! one circle never hurt anyone, did it?

Earrings from last night

I like them!! Copper is so fun to work with

The Cat came Back

Good news~ Renato heard mewing from the bedroom window last night. Inertia was there - scared out of her mind. When I came home she greeted me at the door. Her nose and paws are a little dirty (normally they are gleaming white) but other than that shes the same old Inertia.
Sorry to worry anyone!

Have you seen this Kitty?

I'm flying back tomorrow morning (thank goodness!) Renato contacted me today that Inertia has disappeared. Oh No!!! I'm in a huge state of panic right now, and really wishing I was home. Inertial does not go out ever, so I'm worried she is hiding somewhere terrified. I'll post more updates, but if you are in the Calgary NW area, keep an eye out for my kitty!

Parrots, Inside-Out

I have been learning to X-ray parrots today. No parrots were hurt in the making of these X-rays. The parrots are 40+ years gone, and one I believe was preserved in the 1800's!

The top is an Amazon parrot, the bottom is a Budgie. They are not of equal size. I think these images are going t help my research a lot!

One Week In DC!

My first week here is finished, Yay! I find it really warm and humid, but I think I am starting to acclimatized. So far I have had strange encounters with a lot of insects; went grocery shopping 2 times, laundry cleaning 1 time; I met a beautiful Great Dane named Zero, and spent every possible hour in the museum collections. So... No sight-seeing photos so far. This photo I gotta post because I was amazed by the size of this bug! (twice the size of my thumb)

And it was pretty, and didn't attack me (all qualities I admire in bugs) I've seen tones of fireflies, and one insane cockroach, as well as cardinals and bunny rabbits on my way to and from work.
I'll try to take some photos of the Smithsonian soon!

Random Images of my trip to Seattle

Finally I am posting some photos of my trip to Seattle. I gotta first thank my fabulous hosts, Kristie and Andrew, who forced me to eat 'uncrustables' the entire time. We still got along well, I will take the 'uncrustables' to stay in Seattle

First off, Kristie has a lot of pets, I decided to take photos of them in their coats
Ruby has a coat, its pink!

Sushi has a coat too, can you see it?

George had a coat but did not like it. Not because it was a pink GAP hoodie, but because he prefers to go necked

Rocco does not have a coat. Poor Rocco!

And finally here is Taylor, who is not Kristies pet, but he's darned cute! Plus I have more photos of him than anything else, so he will appear at the end of each photo installation

Cute Flower Earrings

Just before I travel again I finished a pair of earrings! These are made of etched copper, brown fw pearls, bali spacers, and hand-made earwires.
